Why Be a Dragonfly?

Businesses could learn a lot about effective, focused and coordinated effort from the dragonfly.

Dragonfly eyes have 30,000 facets, more than any other insect, which gives them panoramic, 360-degree vision. They capture 95% of their prey (compare to sharks who only capture about 50%) by intercepting their unwitting meal in midair. They are able do this because each of their four wings operate independently, allowing them to hover, fly forward, backward or sideways, and change direction almost immediately.
